During this 9-month level, students master the Arabic alphabet, learn basic reading skills, and understand Quranic reading principles. They practice reading the Quran in Uthmani script, enabling them to recognize any word in the Mus'haf by the end of this level, although not yet applying Tajweed rules.
In this three-month level, the teacher enhances the student's pronunciation and reading fluency, guiding them to link words into verses, achieving a steady reading pace before introducing Tajweed rules.
n this level, which lasts about one year, the student studies the fundamental principles of Tajweed and practices applying them while recognizing these rules through the Uthmani script.
In this level, the student embarks on a comprehensive recitation of the entire Quran, spanning from Surah Al-Fatiha to Surah An-Nas, skillfully applying the rules of Tajweed learned so far, demonstrating their mastery and fluency in reciting the sacred text with precision and beauty.
Iman Nur Academy is excited to partner with Al Safar Publications, renowned for their innovative Islamic educational resources. Founded by Shaykh Hasan Ali in 1998, Al Safar Publications offers engaging materials through their Journey 2 Jannah website, supporting Islamic studies, Qur’an reading, and memorization. Our curriculum now integrates these exceptional resources, ensuring a holistic and enriching educational experience. With textbooks, workbooks, and teacher guides from Al Safar Publications, our students are equipped to deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings and foster a lifelong connection to faith.
